I don't know if it's because it was a Dollar Store kite, or we are bad at kite flying, but it mostly just spun in crazy, wonky circles near the ground. Regardless, it was a requested activity that got done.
I let poor daddy do most of the running around, since I "had" to stay near the baby in the stroller. He he he.
We had fun, ate some cheese (the best power snack out there), and got the wiggles out! Look at those big girls.
Jane's been bugging me to set up a girl cousin playdate. So we had over 2 of the girls cousins to play and they brought Pinkalicious and cupcakes, and then we played Don't Eat Pete!
They had a lot of fun. Jane also made them all play Aliens since daddy has been telling her an epic week-long story about Stain The Alien. Not everyone was pumped about that game, but all participated, like good little cousins.
There is nothing cuter than a little girl hang out!
A little leprechaun came by and made us some greens eggs and green pancakes. Jane gasped when she heard what happened.
These kids took some convincing to eat up.
Then, later we went to Great Uncle David and Great Aunt Heather's house to see their newish baby chickens. (Great Uncle David is barely 5 years older than me, I just like to rub in the generational verbage. :)
This may gross out those of you without kids. Babies slobbering all over used to make me gag too. Now I find this cute. But only 'cuz it's my kid, not yours. :)
